Terex Diesel is a diesel generator manufacturer in Istanbul, Türkiye. We build generator sets with Perkins and Cummins engines for export, as well as sets with Volvo Penta, Scania, FPT Iveco, Baudouin, SDEC, Yuchai, Quartz, Kofo, Yangdong and Kubota engines. Every set is full-load tested at our factory and shipped EXW Istanbul with the export documents.

Requesting a quotation
Send the required power (kVA or kW), voltage and frequency, open or canopy version, controller requirement and the destination country. The quotation states the model code, the engine and alternator, the lead time and the delivery term.
Engine brands, power ranges and lead times
Power ranges are the standby ratings of the diesel generator sets in our catalogue. Lead time is counted from order confirmation; transport time is added and depends on the route.

“Built to order” in the 60 Hz column: the set is built as a 60 Hz / 1,800 rpm version and its 60 Hz output is confirmed in the quotation. The alternator code is part of the model name: ST = Stamford, LS = Leroy-Somer, MC = Mecc Alte, TA = Terex. Every catalogue model can also be supplied on a trailer built in our factory.

Do you manufacture Perkins and Cummins diesel generators for export?
Yes. Terex Diesel builds generator sets with Perkins engines from 10 to 2,500 kVA and with Cummins engines from 16.5 to 2,750 kVA standby (50 Hz) at its factory in Istanbul, Türkiye. Every set is full-load tested before shipment and delivered EXW Istanbul with the export documents.

Which alternator is fitted to Perkins and Cummins sets?
Perkins and Cummins sets are fitted with Stamford alternators as standard; Leroy-Somer, Mecc Alte and TA alternators are also in the catalogue. The alternator code is part of the model name: ST = Stamford, LS = Leroy-Somer, MC = Mecc Alte.
Are 60 Hz / 1,800 rpm generators available?
Yes. Our catalogue has 60 Hz models with Perkins, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Baudouin and Yangdong engines; sets with other engines are built as 60 Hz versions to order. The 60 Hz output is confirmed in the quotation.
What is the lead time?
Quartz, Kofo and Yangdong sets up to 255 kVA are supplied from stock. Sets with Perkins, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Kubota, Scania and FPT Iveco engines are ready 3–4 weeks after order confirmation. Sets with Baudouin, SDEC and Yuchai engines, and Quartz, Kofo and Yangdong sets above 255 kVA, are ready 2–4 weeks after order confirmation. Transport time is added and depends on the route.
Which controller do export sets have?
Export sets are fitted with a Deep Sea (DSE) controller. Datakom or ComAp controllers are available on request.
Which documents come with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the factory test report. For EU destinations we issue the A.TR movement certificate; for countries with a free trade agreement with Türkiye, an EUR.1 can be issued on request where the origin rules are met.
What warranty applies to export sets?
1 year or 1,000 operating hours for all engine brands. The warranty covers the whole set.
