Site Survey and Power Assessment (Türkiye)
Generator site survey and power assessment: on-site load analysis, correct kVA selection and assessment of the installation site. Sizing from 10 to 4,125 kVA.

Service request: Send your service request for your generator and our team will contact you. Service request form
Choosing the right generator starts with an accurate power assessment. During a site survey, our technical team examines the loads to be supplied on site, determines the power required and evaluates the location where the generator will be installed. Terex Diesel helps you identify the right set for your needs within a power range of 10 kVA to 4,125 kVA.
Scope
- Listing the loads to be supplied and reviewing their power ratings
- Assessing the starting currents and load characteristics of motor loads
- Determining the standby or prime power requirement and selecting the appropriate kVA rating
- Evaluating the installation location: access for transport and positioning, ventilation, exhaust outlet, refuelling and maintenance access
- Reviewing the existing electrical infrastructure, switchboards and the need for a transfer switch (ATS)
- Presenting the recommended generator and equipment as a quotation based on the survey results
How we work
- Request: You send your survey request and preliminary information about your facility via the contact form, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- Site inspection: Our technical team inspects the loads, electrical infrastructure and installation area on site.
- Assessment: Based on the information gathered, the required power, generator type and installation conditions are determined.
- Quotation: The recommended generator, equipment and installation scope are presented to you as a written quotation.
The scope and conditions of the survey are defined for each project.

Frequently asked questions
Why is a site survey and power assessment necessary?
An undersized generator becomes overloaded and may shut down; an oversized generator runs inefficiently at low load and increases the initial investment. An on-site load analysis ensures that the generator is sized to the actual requirement.
What information should I prepare before the survey?
A list of the equipment to be supplied and its power ratings, details of motor loads (such as pumps, compressors and lifts), the existing electrical design or switchboard details and the dimensions of the area where the generator will be installed will speed up the survey. Missing information does not prevent the survey; any gaps are completed on site.
Can I estimate my power requirement myself before the survey?
Yes. By entering the total power of your equipment into our power calculator, you can obtain an approximate kVA value. This value gives an initial indication; the final selection is made after the load characteristics and installation conditions have been assessed on site.
