About Terex Diesel
In the generator sector since 2006: our 2,000 m² plant in Tuzla, Istanbul builds 10–4,125 kVA diesel sets, each full-load tested before shipment.
Terex Diesel manufactures diesel generator sets from 10 kVA to 4,125 kVA at its 2,000 m² facility in Tuzla Leather Organised Industrial Zone (Deri OSB), Istanbul, Türkiye (Turkey). The team has worked in the generator sector since 2006. Every set is tested under full load before shipment, and generators have been exported to more than 100 countries.
Our legal name is Terex Diesel Makina Enerji Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti. All our generator models carry the TRX model code, for example TRX BD TA 4125.

Manufacturing in Tuzla
Canopy sheet metal is cut by CNC laser, bent on a press brake and finished with electrostatic powder coating at our facility. Engine and alternator assembly, wiring and control panel connections are carried out under the same roof. You can follow the steps on how a generator is built.
Before shipment, every set runs under full load. Voltage, frequency, temperature and protection functions are checked one by one. If a project needs a separate witness or load bank test, see load bank testing.
What we manufacture
- Diesel generator sets, 10–4,125 kVA. More than 600 models, listed by engine brand and power. Each model page gives standby and prime power, engine, alternator, fuel consumption at 75% load and dimensions.
- Canopied and open-type sets. Soundproof canopies for outdoor sites and noise-sensitive areas; open-type sets for generator rooms.
- Trailer-mounted, containerised and dual sets. Trailer-mounted generators for sites that move, containerised generators for high power, and dual sets with two synchronized generators on one base frame.
- Panels. ATS transfer switch panels for automatic mains-to-generator changeover and synchronization panels for parallel operation.

Engine brands
We build sets with twelve engine brands. The right engine depends on the project: required power, standby or prime duty, fuel quality, ambient temperature and how easily the engine can be serviced where the set will run.

Export
We have shipped generators to more than 100 countries. Before quoting, we ask for the site’s voltage and frequency, temperature range, altitude and dust conditions, because a set for 50 °C heat is not configured the same way as one for −30 °C starts. Shipping method, export documents and spare parts supply are agreed at the quotation stage.

From manufacturing to site: our production process
Generator canopies are produced at our facility in Türkiye from design to shipment, and every set is tested under full load before it leaves.
Laser cutting
Canopy sheet parts are cut to tight tolerances on CNC laser machines.
Bending and forming
Sheets are formed to the canopy geometry on CNC press brakes.
Electrostatic powder coating
Parts are coated with weather-resistant electrostatic powder paint.
Engine and alternator assembly
The engine and alternator are mounted on the base frame.
Full-load testing
