CKD and SKD generator kits: knocked-down or semi-assembled shipping for logistics and customs savings, local assembly, documentation and assembly support.
For manufacturers, distributors and large projects that want to assemble generators in their own country, we prepare generators as CKD (completely knocked down) or SKD (semi knocked down) kits.
CKD and SKD
- CKD: The engine, alternator, control panel, base frame, canopy and all other parts are shipped disassembled.
- SKD: The generator arrives partly pre-assembled; for example, the engine and alternator may already be mounted on the base frame, or the panel may already be integrated.

What is the difference between CKD and SKD?
With CKD (Completely Knocked Down), all generator components are shipped fully disassembled; with SKD (Semi Knocked Down), the set is shipped with a certain degree of pre-assembly, for example with the engine and alternator already mounted on the base frame.
