Service request: Send your service request for your generator and our team will contact you. Service request form
We are with you throughout the process, from pre-sales to after-sales. Our experienced technical team takes care of every step, from choosing the right generator to years of trouble-free operation. Installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, fault repair, overhaul and spare parts all come from one team.
Service coverage and response time
Service is provided in the İstanbul and Ankara regions; for other locations, our team will contact you. In the İstanbul and Ankara regions we respond to breakdowns within 2–4 hours. You can report breakdowns 24/7 to our breakdown line by phone or WhatsApp.
Mobile service vehicle for on-site work; maintenance and repair for all generator brands. The vehicle carries commonly used filters, oil, belts and measuring instruments, so a large share of faults are fixed on the first visit.
Site survey and power analysis
Our engineers determine the power required on site, the load characteristics and the best location for the generator. Correct sizing directly affects both the initial investment and the fuel cost. Details: site survey and power analysis.
Installation and commissioning
Our installation teams position the generator, make the connections and commission it after testing under load. At handover, the user is trained in operation and maintenance.
Scheduled maintenance
Maintenance covers engine oil and filters, fuel and air filters, the cooling system, belts, the battery and charging system, electrical connections and the controller; the generator is run and its values are measured. Maintenance intervals are set by running hours and calendar time according to the engine manufacturer’s manual. The maintenance steps and interval table are on our scheduled maintenance page; for regular visits you can take out a maintenance contract.
Fault diagnosis and repair
When you report a fault, our team diagnoses the problem, informs you of the work required and its cost, and carries it out with your approval. Every job is recorded on a service report form. Common faults include:
- The generator does not start, or starts and then stops
- Battery and charging system faults
- Air, water or blockages in the fuel system
- High engine temperature and low oil pressure alarms
- Voltage and frequency fluctuations, AVR faults
- Controller and transfer switch (ATS) faults
For emergencies, see our 24/7 breakdown support page.
Overhaul and load testing
On engines with long running hours we carry out a full overhaul and renew worn parts: overhaul and refurbishment. After maintenance or repair, we use a load bank to test that the generator can really deliver its rated power: load bank testing.
Genuine spare parts
We supply filters, belts, batteries and critical engine and alternator parts through our fast supply network. Using genuine parts extends the generator’s service life and protects the warranty. See spare parts supply.
What happens during a service visit?
When our service team arrives on site, they first read the alarm history and running hours from the generator’s controller and review the last maintenance record. The engine, alternator, control panel, battery and fuel system are then checked visually and with measurements. If there is a fault, its cause is identified and you are informed of the parts that need replacing and the work to be done. The work is carried out with your approval; the generator is then started and the voltage, frequency, oil pressure and engine temperature are measured. The visit is completed with a service form listing the work carried out and our recommendations.
Which generators do we service?
- All diesel generator sets manufactured by Terex Diesel
- Sets built with Perkins, Cummins, Baudouin, Volvo Penta, FPT Iveco, Scania, SDEC and other engine brands
- Canopied, open-type, trailer-mounted and containerised generators
- Transfer switch (ATS) and synchronisation panels, controllers
If you state the generator’s brand, model, power and controller brand in your service request, our team can arrive with the right parts and equipment.
Service records and warranty
During the warranty period, maintenance must be carried out at the intervals given in the engine manufacturer’s manual and recorded, so that the warranty conditions remain valid. Every maintenance and repair job we carry out is recorded on a service form; these records make it easier to follow the generator’s history and plan the next maintenance.
How to submit a service request
- Fill in the service request form, or contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
- Our team contacts you and confirms the generator’s details and location.
- The work and the date are planned with you; a service form is issued when the work is complete.
Certificates: ISO 9001 · CE · TSE-HYB.

ATS connection diagram
- Mains fails, or voltage/frequency goes out of limits.
- The ATS waits a few seconds (to ride through brief dips), then sends a start signal to the generator.
- Once the generator reaches voltage and frequency, the ATS transfers the load; typically 10–15 seconds in total.
- When mains returns, the ATS confirms it is stable, transfers the load back, and the generator stops after a cool-down run.
Frequently asked questions
How is a generator commissioned?
Commissioning means that, after installation, a specialist team checks all of the generator's mechanical and electrical connections and tests it under load. Fuel, oil and antifreeze levels and the battery and earthing connections are checked; the automatic transfer switch (ATS) panel, if any, is connected; the first start and load test are carried out; voltage and frequency are measured; safety systems are tested; and the user is trained in operation and maintenance.
How do I order generator spare parts?
The best way is to request spare parts using the generator's serial number; that way you receive genuine parts that exactly match the engine and alternator. Incompatible parts can increase fuel consumption and lead to breakdowns.
Which generator brands do you service?
As well as Terex Diesel sets, we service generators of all brands. The engine may be Perkins, Cummins, Baudouin, Volvo Penta, FPT Iveco or another make; in your service request, simply state the generator's make, model and power.
How quickly do you respond to a breakdown?
In the İstanbul and Ankara regions we respond to breakdowns within 2–4 hours. For requests from other locations, our team discusses the service scope and plan with you.
How can I report a breakdown at night or at the weekend?
You can report breakdowns 24/7 to our breakdown line by phone or WhatsApp. In your report, give the generator's location, make and, if shown, the error code on the controller.
What information is needed for a service request?
The generator's make, model and power (kVA), the engine and controller make, running hours and last service date, the fault symptom or error code, and the generator's location.
