Load Bank Testing (Türkiye)
On-site load bank testing of existing generators: stepped loading, voltage, frequency and temperature readings and a test report. Scope is set per project.

Service request: Send your service request for your generator and our team will contact you. Service request form
Most generators kept for standby power rarely run under real load. A load bank test verifies on site, with a controlled load, whether the generator can deliver its rated power when needed. Terex Diesel generators are tested at full load in the factory before shipment; this service is intended for testing existing generators on site.
Scope
- On-site testing of existing generators with a load bank
- Carrying out a test programme with stepped loading
- Voltage, frequency, current, temperature and oil pressure measurements
- Observation of protection and alarm functions
- Reporting of test results and recommendations
How we work
- Preliminary information: Information is obtained on the generator’s model, rating and installation location.
- Planning: The test load, connection point, duration and safety measures are determined.
- Testing: The load bank is connected, the generator is loaded in steps and the values are recorded.
- Report: The measurement results and any work considered necessary are sent to you in a report.
The scope and conditions of the test are defined for each project.

Frequently asked questions
When is a load bank test carried out?
A load bank test is carried out on standby generators that have run at low load for long periods or have only been tested without load, after maintenance or an overhaul, and when it needs to be confirmed that the generator delivers its rated power.
Is the facility's power supply interrupted during the test?
Because the load bank is connected to the generator separately, the test can be performed without switching the facility's loads onto the generator. The connection and test arrangement are planned according to site conditions and communicated to you in advance.
What is delivered at the end of the test?
The voltage, frequency, current, temperature and pressure values measured during the test, together with observations, are presented in the test report. The report also includes any recommended maintenance or repair work.
