Construction Sites
Diesel generators for construction sites: trailer-mounted and open-type sets, light towers and rental options, built to withstand tough site conditions.

On construction sites, tower cranes, concrete pumps, welding machines, site lighting and site offices require a continuous power supply. Where the grid is unavailable or insufficient, the generator supplies this equipment reliably even in harsh site conditions such as dust, moisture and temperature extremes.
What matters on a construction site?
- Mobility: Trailer-mounted generators are easy to move around the site and between sites.
- Motor starting: Loads such as tower cranes, concrete pumps and compressors draw several times their running power at start-up. The generator must be chosen to handle the largest start. Our power calculator also takes the motor starting type into account.
- Durability: The canopy must withstand tough site conditions, impacts and the weather, and give easy access to maintenance points.
- Night work: Light towers illuminate the site for night shifts and security.
- Fuel safety: A large tank reduces the need for frequent refuelling on site, while spill and leak protection keeps the site and the environment safe.

Frequently asked questions
What size generator does a construction site need?
The power is determined by the total load of tower cranes, concrete pumps, welding machines, compressors and site cabins, and above all by the starting power of the largest motor. A few tens of kVA may be enough for a small site, while large projects may need hundreds of kVA. Use our power calculator for a first estimate and contact us for exact sizing.
Is it better to buy or rent a construction site generator?
For short-term or seasonal work, rental is a fast solution that ties up no capital; for long projects, and where the set will be used across several sites, buying is usually more economical.
