We supply diesel generator sets to Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and other West African countries. All sets are produced and full-load tested at our factory in Istanbul and shipped directly from there. Quotations, technical questions and documents are handled by our export team in Istanbul.
Long running hours
Where the grid is unreliable, the generator runs many hours a day. It is selected on prime power, not on the standby rating, so that the engine is not overloaded. For sites with long daily running, two sets in parallel let one stop for maintenance while the other carries the load.
Heat, humidity and fuel
High temperatures and humidity call for a radiator sized for the hottest season and a well-ventilated canopy. Fuel quality varies; we recommend a pre-filter with a water separator in the fuel line and draining water from the bottom of the tank regularly.
Grid
The region runs at 50 Hz, 230/400 V. This matches the 50 Hz / 1,500 rpm ratings in our catalogue; the site voltage is confirmed at the quotation stage.
Transport
Sets are usually shipped by sea in containers to ports such as Dakar or Abidjan. Freight and transit time depend on the port and are given with the quotation.

- Sets with Quartz, SDEC and Baudouin engines: 1–3 weeks after order confirmation, depending on stock. Sets with Perkins, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Kubota, Scania and FPT Iveco engines: 3–4 weeks after order confirmation. Sets with Kofo or Yuchai engines: 1–2 weeks after order confirmation. Transport time is added and depends on the route.

- Each shipment goes with the datasheet, factory full-load test report, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Other documents required in your country are prepared on request.
- Warranty
- 12 months or 1,000 operating hours, for all engine brands.
